Training & ExperienceKathleen is a Registered Dietitian, certified by the State of Washington, trained and experienced in both inpatient, acute care dietetics, and outpatient wellness and prevention services. She is currently a clinical dietitian at Virginia Mason Medical Center and adjunct faculty at Bastyr University & Wu Hsing Tao acupuncture school. Kathleen is also certified in adult weight management. Along with an extensive background in natural foods and supplements, Kathleen has both a BS in Natural Health Sciences and an MS in Clinical Nutrition from Bastyr University. Her background in complementary medicine is enhanced by a clinical and management internship at Los Angeles County General Hospital, the teaching and research hospital for USC. Experience with both conventional and alternative health care gives Kathleen a unique perspective to understand the needs and treatment options for patients and the roles of other health care providers.
